Within the activities of the community service program adopted by Al-Ameed University and its colleges, the Deanship of the College of Nursing at the university organized a field visit for its students and a group of their professors to the Umm al-Jamal area of the Hindiya district in the Holy Karbala governorate to investigate chronic diseases and health problems that the residents of that area suffer from, as well as to raise awareness of the necessity of Receiving the vaccination with the Covid vaccine and distributing introductory and motivational posters for this topic. The Deanship of the College confirmed that this activity aims to increase the skills of students in dealing with patients and access to their places of residence to investigate their diseases, which is positively reflected on the capabilities of students and their development to prepare to work in health institutions that provide services to citizens
